What I'm doing now

Updated 19 June 2026, from my warm flat in Edinburgh, where it's almost summer but rainy, very rainy.

New bike search

I really miss all-road bike that I could ride for 200km and feel tired afterwards but not dead. Recently I had ridden 60-80km on Ragley couple of times and it feels super slow and tiring. So I just need to find a money tree and get myself Spa Elan Ti Mk2. Or find my credit card to buy second-hand-nice-colour CAAD10 or CAAD12. I think non-steel is not-end-of-the-world.. especially if I find nice Cannondale colour. So I'm on a search mission now.

I put the DMR up for sale. I had "last" ride on it couple of days ago. I took a camera with me and had fun time exploring Leith. Now I'm contemplating if I should really sell it or keep it. Thing is all-road-bike is the next buy so to have extra funds would be nice, and I'm running short of space in the flat to keep all my bikes here.

Getting divorce sorted

Not really cycling related, but I decided to bite the bullet and apply for a divorce from my ex. She wanted the divorce in first place, and 3 years later we're still "married". I moved to Edinburgh in 2025 to start with a clean sheet. Now the missing piece is the divorce.
